fall florals

i really like this time of the year. temperatures are dropping but during the day time, the sun is out. the cool breeze with the warm rays of the sun make for the perfect fall weather.

outfit: vintage floral romper, h&m cardigan, scarpasa sandals, walmart hat

nowadays, people have been keeping their summer dresses and sandals in the closet and setting out their blazers, scarves and boots. but if you're like me, i love wearing my clothes all year round as much as possible.

i wore this floral romper with the yellow cardigan that jasmine gave me and these sandals i got from scarpasa. since the sun was out in all its glory, i decided to throw in my straw hat for the photos.

i think this just goes to show that with a little creativity, you can definitely make your clothes work for all 4 seasons. how are you transitioning your summer clothes to fall?

aaahhh!!! i'm definitely planning on going to toronto as soon as i get my citizenship so that i can also just take a bus to new york easily. when that time arrives, we should definitely meet up!!

Hi hun! I actually really like this outfit. It's a great "daytime" look that could easily be transcended into the night by substituting the cardigan for, let's say, a leather jacket? And a different pair of heels?

thinking about fall

i went to arianne's place awhile ago to take advantage of their backyard pool and camera for today's outfit photos. aside from that i got some things from her (including some lip gloss to add to my upcoming giveaway, yay!).

i dont know about you, but the weather here has been hot and humid. but that hasn't really limited me into thinking about the cooler seasons coming up. i was just cleaning my closet awhile ago and i realized how much i have so many summer pieces in there. it's really not practical when we only experience around 2-3 months of good summer weather here, so yeah.. i really need to start building a better fall-winter wardrobe.

i was looking through magazines and online sites to know what i should look out for this fall. im probably not a big trendsetter because as much as possible i like to be comfortable and practical with my outfit choices. to be honest, i actually think i adopt trends later on in the season but here are some trends that i might need to try when the weather starts to get cooler.

the coat!
i need to invest on this. i only have one in my closet. i think it's time to retire my puffy jackets. hahaha!

neutrals all the way!
nudes, beige, creams. definitely classic and timeless. i want them all!!!

the pullover!
the sportswear look is transcending through seasons. it's here to stay.

voluminous skirt!
when i get a job by fall, this should be a good incentive for me to dress up in the workplace.

aahh!! another boring day for me. just went to university to work. tomorrow's going to be the same, im telling you now. hahaha! we're getting positive temperatures now so im more than happy to just wear my jumper dress, tights and oxfords! :D

oh, so i was browsing online and stumbled upon Alexander McQueen's Pre-Fall 2010 collection. i was reminded of how both it's unfortunate that he passed away so soon, and yet we're still lucky that his legacy lives on through these marvelous pieces. believe me when i tell you that these are merely my safe choices and the rest of the collection is just crazily outrageous in a beautiful way.
