what would you do?

hey everyone!!! i have never tried going for a military look but as soon as i got this army green romper from macy's, i knew i had to try it with my black boots. especially now that summer is almost over, i can probably transition this look to fall by adding some tights/leggings, yes?

outfit: macy's romper, sirens boots, divi owl necklace, f21 shades

anyway, so i know most of you reading my blog are fashion bloggers too.. some of you might have photographers who take your outfits photos, but i know some of you, like me, take pictures using the camera timer with a tripod (or not).

well.. have you ever had a time when you were trying out different poses and all of a sudden someone caught you taking pictures of yourself. everytime i read it in other blogs, i always find it funny because i can relate to it.

take these photos for example.. as you may have noticed, there isn't much variety in the photos. that's because in the middle of the shoot, my neighbor went out in the back lane and saw taking photos of myself. we even had that awkward moment where i was trying to wait for the 10-second timer and she was just standing there staring at me. wahahahahahaha!

have you ever had those awkward moments while taking self timer photos? what happened? what did you end up doing?

  2. I love the romper! Although i'm way too shy to wear something strapless so i'd probably add some sort of black studded vest to it :)

  12. That romper is adorable, and definitely can be transistioned into fall!

And yes, I have those awkward timer/ tripod/ neighbor moments all the time! It completely terrified me to begin with but now I just go red and finish up as quickly as I can! Hopefully I can have my own personal photographer one day (please! lol) but until then I guess it just builds character! right?? xx

  14. ah i can't wait to see this on you in the fall with tights! you pull off the military look well :) and that happened to me yesterday! i was taking photos in my backyard and it faces my neighbor's wall/window and yesterday she was cleaning her window while i was taking photos, so i just stopped and waited until she was done hahaha.

  15. Hahaha, okay, yeah, I've definitely had those moments! I just laugh... what else is there to do?

Oh, and I think a big, baggy grandpa sweater or a black band jacket could help make this outfit fall ready as well.

  26. That romper is so cute, love how you paired it with the black boots! Haha yeah I use a tripod and self-timer too, but thankfully I take my pictures on my roof where no one (hopefully) is looking.

  27. Hahahaha oohh my goodness that happens to me all the time. Back when I was at school I was having a photoshoot in my room. Which consisted of me jumping around on my bed in a tulle dress with my hair piled on top of my head. Well to my horror my roommate and her dad came back in the middle of my photoshoot. All I could do was plop down on the bed and pretend like I was editing the pictures on my camara. I've never seen two poeple leave a room so fast. It was pretty funny though. Dont be embarrassed though you have to get your blog pictures some how. Your neighbors will eventually catch on..hopefully.
