surprises (part 2)

im back here in calgary for a 10-day vacation to spend a bday and a monthsary with my boyfriend! the whole thing is basically the surprise, hahaha! im not quite sure if the boyfriend had any idea since most of our family, friends and even his apartment-mates knew of it. somehow, i felt like i was going to get busted and i would spoil the surprise, but everything went well. he thought that i wasn't going to make it for his bday since i didn't have enough money for my airfare (he actually kept insisting to pay for my tickets at first but i didn't want that, hahaha!), but i was able to pull out some strings. i worked extra hours in the university plus with all the gift cards i received recently, i think im going to be fine with shopping here.

so here's what happened: i was picked up by his cousin, went to their apartment and found out that he just got there from his work. so what happened was i didn't go in the apartment first and his cousin told him that he had some package waiting for him outside. he walked out and there i was! hahaha! cheesy much?! but totally worked! (i do have a video, but im still wondering what's the best way to upload it here..)

im psyched! i can't wait to spend the weekend with him! i can't wait to raid the malls and visit stores that aren't available in winnipeg: zara, h&m, forever21! i can't wait to meet up with friends and family here! it's so funny how i can actually afford to have a vacation and yet i don't have a decent job! hahahaha! i am such a loser!
unfortunately, the weather won't be very forgiving in here for the coming weekend. i can't believe that winnipeg is actually having better weather right now. hahaha! i hope next week gives a bit more sunshine so i can easily go around the city! :D

anyway, i hope you guys are having a great week so far. i'll definitely blog some more throughout this week! thank you so much to everyone who has been so nice here in my blog and in chictopia! since i've been having some luck, im thinking of having another giveaway soon. i still need to think of what to give out, though (probably something from this calgary trip?).
