package haul post

EDIT: can i just mention that i didn't go on a shopping spree and got these things all at the same time. i don't want to come across as very materialistic or a shopaholic. i accumulated them over the weeks. please don't think that i'm unconsciously spending my money away, because if anything, i am quite a thrifty gal. all the items were either given or redeemed except for that one piece of item from UO that i purchased with my friends.

while trying to figure out what i can blog about today, i stumbled upon my pile of scattered boxes inside my room. once again, my packages have accumulated and i have this tendency of not putting them aside unless i get to wear them out or post pictures of them. so im guessing here's another package haul post..

Get facebook! I highly recommend it. True, sometimes it drives me insane but at the same time you get to keep up to date with everything with a couple clicks.

Yay for opening a shop. I want to open one too, but it's the whole parting with clothes that I may one day want thing that is bugging me.

ok.. so here's an update. no, i still haven't gotten a facebook. hahahaha! as for opening the shop, i'm still in the process of figuring out if i have enough decent items to sell. most of the items that i had let go of are in the process of swapping with friends and bloggers. plus, i can relate with the whole "what if one day i might want to wear it again" deal. oh gosh, so basically im still contemplating, hahaha! so much for an update, noh?

shopaholic? blame the weather!

it's the first day of summer and im stuck here at home because it's been raining and everything is just wet outside. aaahhh!!! i was hoping i can go out to bike around and find a new place to take photos, but alas the weather isn't cooperating. im just lounging around the house so im back to indoor shots, lovelies..

im trying to fix my room because almost one fourth of my bed is occupied by new items that i haven't gotten around to wearing yet. some were from my last trip to calgary, some were rewards and giveaway stuff i won, some were graduation gifts and others were just random sale items i got in the mall. it's funny because back when i had a job, i can't seem to get myself into buying new things all the time. but now that i am unemployed, i find myself receiving packages in the mail and accumulating more things (most of which are free, so that explains it, i guess).

speaking of new things, i didn't realize that now, urban outfitters is having a $10 flat rate shipping fee for canadian shoppers! how awesome is that?! not that i need more things in my closet.. but seriously, whoever thought of this idea is genius!!!! hahaha! i've been wanting to purchase bodysuits, scalloped shorts and nude shoes from their online store since it's not available here in my city. and i just can't bring myself to pay $25 for shipping back then. but this $10 flat rate fee is so so tempting!! it's even free when you go over $150. aaaahh!!! winnipeg friends, help me fill my cart! hahaha!

ok, i just realized that this post was so materialistic and was just all about shopping. im not really like that, i promise. hahaha! this weather is just keeping me from venturing outdoors and is totally tapping on my shopaholic instincts. tsk tsk, bad!

since I know you like talking about food, in the picture with the buffet there is a pan with chow mein I have been all over town to find the right noodles for it. Can you pretty please tell me where you get the noodles/what brand if you happen to know:)

im choosing this comment so i can answer your question about that dish. it's called pancit bihon and the noodles used are called rice sticks. they'll have the "bihon" label in the packaging too. you can go to lucky supermarket or young's asian market and ask the clerks about it. i'm pretty sure they know it! :D hope that was helpful!
