in 4.5 inches glory!

when i discovered that the dress code was business casual (in the most casual sense), i decided to wear my harem pants to work. i think i wear them best with high heels, so i went for it.

outfit: divi cardigan & harem pants, f21 top, sirens necklace, celine pumps

you see, im all about heels and wedges because i'm short and i don't mind wearing them. luckily, i own pairs that are comfy and that can last me for the whole day without getting blisters. plus, in my job, im just in my desk the whole day except for coffee and lunch breaks; elevators are nearby; and as soon as i step out of the building, my bus stop is there (therefore, no long walking needed)

and guess what? the day i decided to wear my heels was the day that the building decided to have a fire drill. so what, you may ask? well.. i forgot to mention that our office is on the 14th floor and i had to go down the stairs with my 4.5 inched heels!! aaaaahhhh!! it wasn't that bad that day. but the following day, my legs became super sore!!!! hahahahaha! i'm so unfit!

anyway, after work, i attended my cousin's party at their place. i just devoured all the good food in there, so much for trying to stay fit, eh?

Comment of the Day: SMASH
You know, I like the proportions of your outfit but I think it would be more succesful if the print on the skirt was different. I feel its a little too boho/hippie for the neon colors of the shirt. Maybe a maxi in a solid color or really large, black and white geometric print would work.
Doesn't change the fact that you're still adorable :)

i totally agree.. the patterns/designs sort of clash noh? but i really wanted to try the contrast of the cropped top and maxi skirt and since those pieces were the only one i own, i just had to try it out. teehee!!! thanks for the suggestion. will definitely look into it! :D

  6. i love this look. i could never, never wear heels to work! shelving books, ladders and on my feet all day would just kill me if i did it in heels! i love wedges, but i don't wear those to work either.
