so ever since monday started, this week has been filled with one email after another, receiving mostly good news! hmm.. let's just say that the next few weeks will be quite hectic for me in the online world. i took a break from it all and went to the fringe festival today amidst the gloomy and rainy weather.
anyway, i want to move along and go back to the forgotten food tripping thursday post. because of the
good news that i got yesterday, i knew i had to blog about it right away and move this feature for today. i hope you don't mind that. i was out with some friends today for dinner after attending the fringe festival.
today, i'm featuring a familiar combination that you have probably seen in this blog a couple of times: SUSHI and ICE CREAM! i don't really know what about the two makes them good together but i always feel like eating ice cream after sushi. hahahaha, weird i know!
this time around, i got to try at this place called Ninki Sushi along Corydon and we were lucky to arrive during happy hour so that meant 50% off sushi maki!
after that, we were all craving for some ice cream amidst the gloomy weather and since we haven't tried Marble Slab before, we gave it a shot! my friend and i got a cup to share and it was filled with chocolate and cookie dough goodness! yummehh!!!

I love that red cardigan! Congratulations on getting the job!! I would say wait to see the boy, save up, and take a few days off to travel down with a cheap flight booked in advance!
amidst all the comments i got to push thru with the calgary flight, i'm actually thinking of taking this suggestion to wait it out.. there are a couple of reasons, both practical and personal. i already talked to the boy and i guess the final decision is still up to me. if i really want to, taking the bus can be a viable option as well (shoutout to mel & rita for suggesting!). hhmmm...
btw, thank you to everyone who commented about my good news and congratulated me. i'm excited and scared at the same time. aaahhh!!!
