lazy weekend

the weekend was perfect for a day at the beach. unfortunately, i can't seem to find someone to go with me so when i was invited for a get together last saturday, i grabbed the opportunity to stay outdoors and enjoy the sun.

outfit: kismet loose tee, joe fresh belt, h&m lace skirt, payless shoes

you may have noticed that i've been wearing this skirt a number of times in the span of a few weeks and that's why i immediately thought of entering the different looks in chictopia's teen vogue wardrobe remix contest. see my entry here.

one of my friends bought red velvet cupcakes for the party from the lilac bakery and they tasted so good!!

on a completely different topic, i was recently tagged to do a "what's in your purse" post. i have been meaning to share it with you, but never got the chance to take photos. anyway, here's what i keep in my bag: not much, may i add..

f21 purse: LV knockoff wallet, keys, digital camera, mints, carmex, joe fresh concealer, biotherm lotion

depending on the occasion, i'd have additional make-up, perfume and other items in my purse.
(note: i do not own a cellphone or an mp3 player!)

yeah! im still waiting for a photo of the day my bf wore the same threadless tee. i know matching things can be so cheesy, but when you're in a long distance relationship, i guess nothing's too mushy! hahaha! thanks a lot for all the wonderful comments i've been receiving! i hope everyone had a great weekend!
