to counter the coldness, i met up with a friend and ate at a mexican restaurant by kensington. the place is called Julio Barrios and can i just mention how i love the interiors!!!
the moment you step inside, you can smell the nachos, salsa and refried beans! hahahahaha! it's such a pity that winnipeg only has a couple of good mexican restaurants like this. so we went on and ordered our dinner. (warning: intense food porn)

i was never a fan of beans, but theirs was amazing!!!! my quesadillas was good too! after having our meals, we ordered this banana dessert rolled in cinnamon & brown sugar with chocolate dip on the side. aaahhhh!!! pure goodness!
