My Way, Her Way, Their Way: The Cropped Top

For this installment of ''My Way, Her Way, Their Way'', Bestie suggested we go for the Cropped Top. Since I already own one from Tminx, I jumped in the chance to style it in another way.

Here's the deal with me and the cropped top. I don't have a size 0-2 body, so wearing it with my bare belly showing is just not a good sight. hahahaha! What I resorted to doing is wearing a lace bodysuit underneath so that it's still sexy without showing too much skin.

I thought of pairing the top with some denim cut offs and boots to put a bit more edge to it. Plus, I haven't worn these boots since spring. If I put some stockings on with this look, it's easily a fall outfit to me.

This time around I invited Niki of Tiny Sailor, while Bestie of The Capricious Club had Hope of Simply Hope to join in this feature. Bestie looks amazing with the highwaisted jeans. I especially adore the lace trimmings on her cropped top. (Can you believe that we're doing the same pose, the same hairstyle and yes, we ended up having some lace and denim in both of our outfits without intentionally doing it... CRAZY!).

Niki went for a really feminine summer look which is so her! The neon pink and floral shorts are just so darling together. With Hope's outfit, I love the texture contrasts of the jacket and the cropped top, which can easily transition as a fall ensemble. Look at them both wearing something pink --totally unplanned but oh so right!

that maxi skirt made you look super long, sybil! why not try a cropped tee with the skirt next time. and yes, i'm salivating over the drinks. the strawberry mojito looks really good and cold. haha.

i was supposed to wear it with a cropped top, but since bestie and i had this in mind for today's featured trend, i decided to just skip it for another post. i didn't want to wear the cropped top 2 posts in a row. hahahaha! aaahhh.. and yes, some strawberry mojito should be so good right now.. :)
