the only small concern i have is, i've been trying to think of more ways to style it up. i know i can easily pair it with my skinny jeans, but i wanted to try and stretch its functionality by pairing it with some other bottoms. i don't know if my ensemble experiments turned out well, but i was hoping to create a sort of seamless flowy look by pairing the top with skirts. i paired it with a high waisted one and also a pencil cut one.

Mmm, Marble Slab is so good! I home you can figure out a way to make it out to Calgary!
Aaahh, yes! cold stone also recently opened here and it has the same concept of marble slab. too expensive for ice cream but they're worth it once in awhile, i must say. as for calgary, im still contemplating. darn, i can't make up my mind, can i?
thank you so much! completely unexpected! beautiful outfit and layout! I'm a new follower :) You should follow me, too! then you can enter my giveaway!!
ReplyDeletelove, polly
you can layer it with a sheer or thin clothing inside the dress. hmmm.. or layer it with a skirt..
ReplyDelete=p
Bodycon skirts would work really good, like your first picture. :) Then you've got a flowy on top and a tighter bottom so it doesn't feel too uneven.. that or just skinny jeans with another layer on top of your top, like a cropped jacket or loose, sheer vest of some sort? :D
ReplyDeleteI love how you did it, though! So cute. :D
Tights would be perfect, but since you don't really want to go there, like Ali said skinny jeans and what you did in the pics would work beautifully! Thanks for dropping by too:-).
ReplyDeleteI like both looks but the floral skirt with is really pretty so gets my vote!
ReplyDeletei love how you style it, both ways :)

i'd say layer it with a skirt or add some texture with printed stockings!
ReplyDeletesince it's gray, pair it with colorful skirts that you can put on top of each other for that color pop or pair it with a long cardigan if you'll be wearing leggings. But pair it with colorful pieces :)

I think this would look great with skinny jeans -- and the skirt that you've paired it with in the first and last photos also totally works. It's a cute top!

ReplyDeletelove the top <3 it looks good on both of the looks, especially your sandals are super cutiee
ReplyDeletelove,vdcouture
That's definitely an interesting way to style up that top. I could never figure out how to wear cuts like that myself. I especially like the printed skirt for day then the black skirt for night :)
ReplyDeleteB from A plus B
I think it'd look super cute worn loose with some short shorts underneath! Perfect for super hot summer days :)
ReplyDeletePS. I love how happy you always look! :D :D :D
you look so cute! ^^ love the top, and it looks awesome with the second skirt!

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. This is such a versatile top. Love the looks you've posted. You could layer it on top of a tight fitting dress... or maybe a pouffier skirt might also look interesting. When it gets cooler, a loose fitting cardigan with a belt + tights would be super cute too!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the first combination!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. You look fantastic. Not sure which way I like it the best.
ReplyDeleteWhew... I love when you paired the top with the black skirt. maybe you can add a cropped jacket too? hahaha.. =D
ReplyDeletelove your top.
ReplyDeletei think, you can wear lace legging, but combine it with denim short or khakis short :)
I have been having the same problem on deciding how I should style my assymetrical tops,(esp. for summer)! The belt is a Great touch and pulls the look together:)For fall/winter I would go for a military jacket with some cool tights and lace up booties!
ReplyDeleteI love the drapiness of your top and how it's paired with a tight skirt. Another way I'd wear it is over denim cutoffs- since the back is longer you don't have to worry about the shorts being too short since your butt is covered!
ReplyDeleteI have some exciting news on my blog!! Hope you like it
ReplyDeleteOhh and you look gorgeous
You look adorable! You always have the cutest outfits. :)
ReplyDeleteyou could wear it with a skirt and sheer tights:) wear a blazer over it:)

I like the belt and pencil skirt underneath. It looks great. I might try it with some walking shorts and jacket instead of the belt, or if not a jacket, maybe an open vest, cute!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute top! I love the color! i think it would look great with shorts.
ReplyDeletecute looks i really like them both and cold stone sounds pretty fabulous! lol my fave. it the birthday cake
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute top, but I can def see how it would be difficult to style for warm weather appropriate opportunities. Maybe play with the asymmetrical hem? You could tie it sometimes, or tuck one side in cute off shorts.
ReplyDeletelove the diff was you wear this! you could also try tying it up a bit and play with other shirts under it!
ReplyDeletexx
You can layer it with skin tight dresses and just add that top on top. How about shorts? or another flowy tank top underneath it?
ReplyDeleteGreat top though. It's so pretty.
i love this top with the belt and sandals--just perfect.

well this comment is a little late but: you can wear it with some dark shorts and a flowy cardigan. Then wear a bunch of necklaces. ---and hahaha. Divi skirt! you make your motherland proud!
