carnival treats!

i just got home and that's why this food tripping thursdays feature is late and being published on a friday. whoopsie! before we go to that though, let me show you what i wore when i went to the red river exhibition a few hours ago.

this year, i went to the ex(hibition) with my bf's brother and his dudes.. hahaha! i don't really know what you call them.. his gang, perhaps? all i can say is, i was one of the boys today..

i accompanied them to the rides; 'accompanied' being the operative word since i didn't really go in the rides. i was more interested in taking photos and eating carnival food!

which leads me to the topic of today's food tripping thursdays: CARNIVAL FOOD! i was quite ecstatic to go to the ex because that's the best and only time i get to try my favorite: corndogs!

aside from that there were the usual cotton candy, candy apples, lemonade, mini donuts and spiral chips.

we even went into an area where they had $2 shots sponsored by the Manitoba Liquor Corporation. but at the end of the night we just settled for some good old beer at a nearby pub! i did tell you earlier that it was a boys night out, hahaha!
